Our Wedding

We met during spring training 2023 when McKenzie was a physical therapy student with the Chicago White Sox and Jordan was a minor league player rehabbing from knee surgery. What started as a few casual conversations eventually turned into something special. We officially started dating on November 1st, 2023. Over the past two years, we’ve spent many days at the baseball field and we love staying active together—playing pickleball and tennis, taking our puppy on walks, and working out. In the summer of 2025, while on vacation in Charleston, South Carolina, Jordan proposed on a boardwalk overlooking the water. It was the perfect start to this next chapter of our lives.

Dear Family &amp; Friends, We are excited to celebrate our wedding with you in Bucerías, Nayarit, a charming coastal town located on the stunning Bay of Banderas in Mexico. The Bay of Banderas is one of the largest and most beautiful bays in the world, offering warm waters, lush mountain views, and endless opportunities to relax or explore. We hope this destination feels like a true getaway for everyone joining us. We have reserved a block of rooms at Armony Marival Resort &amp; Spa, an all-inclusive located nearby which overlooks the Bay of Banderas. This resort offers beautiful ocean views, multiple dining options, pools, beach access, and a spa—everything you need for a stress-free and memorable stay. Staying at Armony Marival is highly recommended, as Pre-Wedding events and group transportation will be centered around the resort. We invite our guests to dress in black cocktail attire.

The weather in January is generally pleasantly warm but cool in the evening, so a light sweater or shawl might be needed as we expect ocean breezes and it will be cool after sunset. Dress Code

Activities at Armony Marival Resort The resort offers a wide variety of daily activities designed for relaxation, wellness, and fun. Guests can enjoy morning wellness experiences such as Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, and guided nature or beach walks. Throughout the day, there are pool and beach activities including aquafit, volleyball, soccer, ping pong and darts. In the evenings, the resort hosts themed nights and entertainment, including DJ sessions at the infinity pool, cultural experiences, dance and rhythm events, glow-themed parties, and casino nights. Families traveling with children will find a kids program with arts and crafts, sand sculptures, water fun, games, movie nights, kids yoga, and themed evening activities. Upon arrival at the resort, you will receive a copy of the week´s activities program
